No, they were trashed...leaky and bent...just like some front shackles I noticed today on the truck...I gotta build beefier ones.

build tall mounts for em?  or hold off till you can get a set.  I was talkin with Kevin today at work, he wants me to come over to his shop and even offered to help revalve my shocks and get the right amount of nitrogen pressure in the reservoirs.  Now that kevin is there i'm even less productive at work lol!

Like this with .75 jam nut on underside of shackle, and a welded nut on top w/ .75x.75 high mis-alignment spacers

He's got a gen 1 2wd flatbed that he drives to work.  he hasn't been crawlin lately and has no rig.  he's been pretty busy doing Class 7 CORR racing i think is what he said.  300hp 3.4 Tacoma is what I think he said, total chaos front end

Here they are, and a day early!  I won't be putting em in till I regear the R&P.  And then I'll be replacing every seal and bearing in the axle too.  Hopefully with these I won't be back in there for a while.  Gonna finish the Spring sleeves tomorrow, it's going alot slower than I originally thought since it's really been pickin up at work.  But then again I measure everything 10 times, then look at it with a level, then re-measure, and of course I gotta put a speed square on it to know all my angles, and then I gotta drink a beer while I kick back and brainstorm some more.  I'm sloooow lol.

here's a good shot of the end of the axle shafts that go into the birf, notice no kneckdown.  30 spline all the way around.  and a shot of my pathetic progress on the sleeves.  both of em are at the same point, gotta take em to the shop and finish weld the tube and skin it all with .25

Does anybody know what the red paint on the 30 splines is for? They all seem to have it.

alwayzbroken...i believe that's how they identify thier grade of steel.  or it could be bobby longs way of determining the 30's from the 27's...well maybe not that, you could just see if it has a kneck down or not.  russel, the sleeve attches to the spring with a bolt...a hole travels through the sleeve, through the spring pack, and out the other side

FYI Alaskan Assassin is some dudes screen name on pirate. However the name "cuddly koala" is still available, not from Alaska but twice as cute, kinda like your woman  :rofl2:

Well, Alaskan Assassin is the name of the alaska monster truck lol, it's not a very creative name when it's already in use.  I dunno what I'll call it.  Here's what happened today...
