I live in redding but grew up in weaverville.  Do a fair amount of hunting in the hayfork area.

:yesnod:  I just back near the water and pull the boat out myself   Then I just drag it along the rocks and into the river (since that's where I usually use it) and install the batteries and trolling motor.  I have a little trailer for it but need to get new wood runners.  They're short enough to where the boat starts to sag and deform if I leave it on the trailer now.  I'm actually thinking about selling the boat and getting a flat bottom aluminum to replace it, or just put the $ toward getting the truck running :gap:

Jeez, Duff, at least he's courteous enough to tell you up front that he's stroking you, instead of showing you some pics from 1994 and telling you about all the progress he made "over the last weekend"...he may be wasting your time, but he's honest about it.

You never noticed my massive gun-boats *kisses biceps* :haha:  It doesn't weigh but a couple hundred pounds maybe, so if you're smart enough and manipulate it, it's not too bad.  I definately don't pick the whole thing up at once though!

Should be bringing home my welder tomorrow so I can get some stuff done  :_order:  I'd like to try getting the engine bay cleaned up a little bit too...

Castrol Super Clean and a couple of stiff paintbrushes will do the trick.  Wear gloves and don't get it in your eyes...

you Oregon guys must still get the old stuff...in CA we have just "superclean" now...no longer made by castrol, and with a different formulation to make it greenie OK. ::)

I personally like a freakin' STEAM CLEANER, but I don't think the boss is down with me bringing it home.  Then again, he's on vacation...  I have a couple good cleaners, castrol included, but for some of this stuff I really really need power/heat!

Talk about getting :pokinit: in your eyes, I got gasket remover in my eyes a couple weeks ago :yikes:  Soon as it made contact I got up, went inside and my eye was burning by the time I hit the bathroom.  I was afraid it'd melt my contact, so I didn't sit there and wait to get uncomfortable.  That kinda sucked for an hour or two :shake:
