Issue getting into gear
« on: Dec 09, 2006, 05:12:59 PM »
I replaced my w56 with one of Marlins hd units, a Centerforce dual friction clutch, pilot bearing and throwout. I have noticed that it is hard to get into gear when running, it goes in but with a little work. It goes through the gears easy when it isn't running and the clutch is in. If I have it running and try to put it in gear and it's not going in, I can shut it off while still applying a little pressure on the shifter and once I turn it off it slides right into gear.

x3, when was the last time you bled the fluid through?  I would also just double check that the slave cylinder is functioning properly.

I bled it a couple months ago when i replaced the master/slave cylinders. I will rebleed tomorrow and see if it helps. Everything from the motor to the axles are new, I mean everything so it shouldn't be anything big.
