« on: Dec 07, 2006, 10:00:29 PM »
Hey I need a 81-83 Toyota Pickup FEDERAL emissions computer. Better yet would be an 81 around the Willows/Chico area that I could get parts from. Thanks.

Sorry, Im lookin specifically for a fed cause the emisions computers on the cali models have 16 or 17 pin connecters and the feds have I think a 13. I also need the harness to be from a SR5 (for the Tach cluster)

I may be wrong, but I don't think there's a difference in the dash side of the harness, it should be set up to accomodate tach and non tach models.  I put an sr5 cluster in my 81 2wd that came without, and didn't have to change anything for it to work :dunno:

I have one and it is a longbed. I still have all the wiring stuff too....

Yeah, but I need the emissions computer to be a federal motor computer.. the one I have says 81 cali 22R and I've got a federal motor. Heres what I have. My Auto Shop teacher gave me these Mitchell auto book. The first one is the cali wiring computer that is in my truck currently. The second is the one I need, the Federal wiring harness. Look at the computers on the top left of each pic. The cali comp has a 17 pin connector and the fed has a 13 pin connector

Thanks for lookin. I think I might be able to just wire in a federal computer, the wiring doesnt look too hard. So I might just get the computer.
