2007 Gearheads for kids, help cure cancer in kids..

This is my 3rd year doing this, and I'm looking for others to join in! I've beat my goal of $1000 for two years in a row but this time I dropped my goal down to $100 in hopes of getting more people involved.

Read about the kids HERE. These are kids currently fighting cancer, as well as those that have won and unfortunately - those that have lost :(

I have raised a total of $2,595 dollars for the cause, and my "team" has raised a total of $4870 over the past two years. That's not too shabby but it's not just about the money, the only reason I signed up for this was for the kids - my local event was put on by a mom that had lost a kid to cancer and the event is filled with kids. Cancer is bad enough when it hits someone that has had a full life but kids have their life to look forward to still! The idea is that when kids go through treatment they lose their hair and shaving your head makes them feel just a bit more normal and like everyone else.

Anyway, I'll update this post as time goes on. Please bring it to the top if you read it and join up - spread the word.. If you can't join up pitch in a few bucks. Can you imagine how much $5 from everyone here would raise for the cause?
