Well I have had this thing at my house for about two years now and never made any forward progress on it. but after MCR5 my truck had seen its last voyage and it was time to get this thing going. My donor truck for this project is a 91 2wd shortbed. I plan to use the axles and suspension out of my old truck so i should be allready to go.
here are some pics to start things off.
what it looked like when i brought it home a while back. and after sitting at my house for a couple years.

lookin good.. where did you get those jackstands? those are huge, just what i need.  are you planning to box the frame at all since its a 2wheel drive?
stupid people shouldn't have kids.

NUb

once i got it on the ground it was time for the engine, trans, and cases. I picked up a turbo bell-housing so i can run my freshly rebuild r-150 v6 trans out of my old truck and my 23-spline marlin duals.

thanks. they are NAPA 10 ton jackstands. a little over kill but its nice not to work on the ground or stack lots of blocks. in the pic they are all the way down 32" extended they reach 47". the frame is all ready boxed just like the 4x4's

Those must be the new suspension seats that are all the rave for comp rigs! I also noticed those invisable u-bolts!

Looks great man, keep the pics coming, I love these ftoys.
