well i got a few small things done today... first of all the parts that i had on back order I cancelled and ordered from ballistic fab and they should be here tomorrow hopfully. then i got the tool box, gas tank and air tanks mounted. also got the rear lights done.

well a little of both, i have a idea in my head what i want to look like then i just go at. the truck is my buddys so i cleared most ideas and got some of his imput but after that just started bending and lettin the sparks fly. those fancy CAD programs are for sissys.

I guess a clearer question would be...

Do you measure it out then draw it on the ground and fallow your design so that you know where all the bends start and stop?
Thats how I'm doing my cage in my 4Runner and its turning out pretty good so far.

on the big hoop type bars, like the main bar of the bed, i laid it out with chalk on the floor, but usually i just go for it.  I have used my bender enough I pretty much know where and how a bend will "grow" if you will. basically to answer your question i use an angle finder to get an idea then go fo it, if the bend needs more i put it back in the bender. but i guess im gettin good at "guess and check", my work has turned out good and i don't have very much wasted tubing.

as of right now going to keep the springs in the front. parts will be here Monday so i can do the rear suspension. i am incrising the wheelbase to 112 form the stock 106. after the links are in i can finish the bed. i'd say its about 60% done right now.

actually yes... i lost my dig camera so you will have to wait for pics but we got a lot done today. LOwer links are in, trac bar is in, and got the hoops for the air shox all done up. im going to get a camera tomorrow and then i'll post up the goods. but its lookin sick. we are dropping the driveline off at high angle to get it extended then its back to work.

well it is offically off the jackstands!   I will post some pics tomorrow, i took some tonight but its way to dark in the shop right now. basically all we have left to do is wire the lights, extend the fuel lines and have the muffer redone. and finish painting it. yes chris, it will be done by the 23.
