In conjunction with MCR3...

The 4th Annual Rubicon Bash will be running the trail backwards.

When: Fri June 13 & Sat June 14 (Father's Day Weekend)
Where: Rubicon Trail
Meeting Place/Time: Observation Point top of Cadillac Hill 9:00 a.m. Fri 13th.

The Gettin' Off Club will be hosting this year's 4th Annual Rubicon Bash. Drew Persson formerly of Persson Offroad had organized the run for the past three years on Father's Day weekend for his customers and friends. Drew has passed the baton onto our club to continue the tradition.

This year the trail will be run backwards starting at the top of Cadillac Hill. Running the trail backwards will allow everyone to participate in both events. If you plan to attend MCR3 you must also register for MCR3 separately.

More details for the run are provided on the club website:http://www.gettinoff4x4.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=47

To register for the run please reply to the thread started on our club BBS or send an email to [email protected] with 4th Annual Rubicon Bash in the subject and provide 1) your name 2) city & state 3) year and make of rig.

For anyone who is interested in running the 'Con backwards, we have about 30 rigs registered for the 4th Annual Bash.

It is not too late to register if you want to add your name to the list.

Terry, you may want to watch the snowpack and reroute from the front if the drifts are not clear by then. I believe the Loon side will be clear by then. That Tahoe side is sensitive, if you know what I mean.
If you would like to help save the Rubicon, send money to the Rubicon Trail Foundation

Yeah, we're praying for some warm weather over the next few weeks.

Plan B will be an In/Out from Loon.  If we are effected I'm sure Rubithon will be effected as well on the following weekend.

I'd hate to see the group of Canucks come all the way down and not be able to run the whole trail. :dunno:
