I am going to chop the end of the bed off and cap the ends. Then build a swing out tire carrier/tail gate kinda deal with all my light and license plate on it.

Oh and I'm going to cut the ends of the tubes at an angle and cap them off here in the next couple days.

so lets see them pics bud.  what happened at the OHV?

Jud

So Yesterday I got up and drove about 40 min. out to my dads house in Patterson to use the welder to weld on a D-Ring. My truck has been pulling to the right ever since the Hollister trip, I thought I had just messed up the alignment or something. Well i got there and smelt brakes. My right front calliper had locked up. So I went to the AutoZone in town and they didn't have one there but a store back in Modesto did. So I'm in my dads truck so I can get there in like 30 min., So I get there pick up money at my house and call down there to make sure they still have it. They told me none of the stores have one, I was pretty frustrated now. So I call Kragens and the Ceres one had it. I had them hold it for me and went and picked it up. So I get back to Patterson finally with the new calliper. I was putting it on and cross threaded one of the bolts. So now I had to race down the the store and find a tap. Well the 3rd store I went to had the 12x1.25 tap I needed. So there went another $10. So I got home, got it tapped and put it on and bled the brakes. This thing stop tits now! Well anyways I did get my D-Ring welded on.

You know I really don't know.

It's about 0.5" lower than my front setup using 4" springs and 2.5"longer shackles, But it really depends on how you set it up, like how long the shackles are, your shackle angle, how tall your shackle hangers are, and how tall your spring hangers are. plus there are different 63" Chevy springs. There are the 2wd 2 leaf+overloads, 4wd 2 leaf+overloads, and the 4wd 3 leaf+overloads.

also it looks like you have a Runner? If so then your backend is heavier than mine which would make it even lower.
