SAS????

im wanting to do a sas on a 87 runner wanted to know what tools will be needed, never did an sas before???also any hints/tips would be helpful... thanks

TORCH/PLASMA CUTTER/SAWZALLE/GRINDER WITH CUT OFF WHEEL ANY OF THOSE SOME TIME TO HAVE THE TRUCK DOWN IT TAKES SOME TIME TO DO THE SAS.  I CANT THINK NOW ILL POST MORE SOON WHEN I CAN THINK!

knowledge and a really good welder and more knowledge. if u have to ask this question u probably should not attempt it. not trying to be an :moon: just telling u how it is :yupyup:

thanks..ive been reading up just wanted to know if there were any helpful hint/tips

opps forgot the welder :doh: have a good set of tools thats always helpful. another person is handy to have but not really needed! make sure you have all the needed parts ready to go before you start the tear down i double checked everything before i started to make sur ei didnt ahve to run out and get anyhting or wait for it to be delivered. get some fairly tall jack stands so you cen set it up on the frame around the rear cross member area so you can still hang the springs, i got some really tall ones from sears.  i had never done a sas before it really isnt to hard i did mine a little over a year ago! i read the tech info on the swap on the main marlin page!  if you have any questions feel free to ask!
