Theres some scenic pics in my photobucket check it out. Well i had a great time 4wheelin and hanging out with all these guys again. It was the best weather we could ask for, besides the freezin nights but wasent to bad. I broke 2 rocks lights on the 1st water crossing, ripped out a front drain plug, that was a pretty quick fix just crossthreaded it back in, and i smashed my pass. side door i just bought on the last mile of the trail. But its all good, its just sheetmetal... I had a great time and im lookin forward to the next trip.

drama aside, i have wheeled with most on this trip(would have been there, but, ended at the con instead). i have spoken with most involved, just drop it! you can have a mall crawler and never fully get or you can do the best you can. at the con this weekend coconut fully got it in the lil sluice box with ALMOST no body damage. me on the other hand , i got it and was denied(with alot of body damage).

a dead log or a beer can in the fire, it's all the same. in the mornin, PICK IT UP! don't start shirt. if we fight with each other, how can we fight those that want to close our trails?

Great pics. I was curious about a certain area of the trail. Going in from Eagle past the first water crossing, as you start to go through a grove of trees, there is a big hole. Its blocked off with two "No Vehicles" signs and filled with a bunch of tree limbs. Just past that there is a little down hill before you enter a short canyon. Some logs were place on that little down hill to stop erosion. Can anybody recall this section and the shape of the area when you last saw it?

Hyena

i know of ythe blocked of part that you are talking about but not the downhill part.

Hooch

Its right beside the hole that was filled. Its not really a down hill I guess, more of like a 6 ft or so drop down into the small canyon. The way it was left was more like a little ramp. Just wanted to see how that ramp was doing. Were the logs exposed, or even still there? Just curious. Thanks

Hyena

ok, i see now.  i think i remember seeing the logs exposed.  yota4life might remember more.

Yota4life

I cant remember that spot at all.

Was there a sign in the middle of it?

More like 2 brown "Stick" signs right in front of the hole. As your headed up the trail from Eagle to WH1 you go through a small grove of tall trees. Thats where you will find the big hole. The hole is right in the middle of the trail so you have to go around it towards the right, just past the hole is the little "Ramp" that leads you back on the trail and down into a short/small canyon. Just want to see if that "Ramp" is holding up to the wheelers. If not we want to fix it before major rains/snow. Thanks

Hyena

the hole is the one that my truck fell into and broke my windshield.  it wasn't blocked off at that time.

Yota4life

Oh ya i think i saw someone drive up it. It looked good to me

Cool, Thanks guys. It was tons of hard work and I wanted to make sure it was lasting.

Great pics of WH1. I think the new line for most will be the middle/left. At least since the big boulder just past the tree is gone. The right is pretty easy now. The orange Runner looks sick, and dude in the blue Mini picks my kind of lines. Thanks again.

gotrocks

I am so jealous of you guys.  I really hope I get a chance to come back down there soon and actually wheel this time.  Looks like you had a fun time.
