arent u from minnesota? nevermind........yea the tent heaters... u want a ceramic heater that produces no fumes. safe to use in the tent. Coleman makes a decently priced one u can usually pick up at like a wal mart or something. That and a zero degree bag and it should be just like home lol

If the boy needs a tent heater then, he may want a lower rating on his Sleeping bag. Say about -20C or get a bag big enought to put a Comforter for a Single or twin bed.. Single can be hard to find as they only make them in kids sizes EI: TOO short.

I was thinking of a sleeping bag rated for 0 degrees Kelvin. That should be pretty warm. I am pretty sure I would be the only thing still moving at that temp

I plan on rolling in around 8 am on Friday. There will be two trucks in our group. The second truck is an early Bronco tube buggy that belongs to my friend Mike.

I wish I had seen your message earlier, I could of offered to get you and your truck there.  My boss is jumping thru hoops just to send me some were i want to be for X-mas and New years.. IL is a easy place because it's on the route of about three of ours company's traffic lanes

If you had to get some one to come drive your truck down and back,  who better then a professional driver..

Does anybody know if Flat Nasty has a shower or something that could pass for a shower?

Are you boys and your girls all ready for the weekend? What do you have left to do?

Oh well I doubt there will be any mud out there so I may stay clean for the first day. I just need to change engine and rear diff oil, get new exhaust bent get a driver's door, and make a new rear bumper.  Some of that might get done.

Holy balls! I just map quested my trip. Damn near 1300 miles round trip or 23 hours in the Ford. That takes into account the necessary stop at the Lumberyard in Des Moines and stopping at Hannibal Rocks grand opening on the way back up.
