Seems like I need to get setup to pull duals. I'll be in the towing section figuring out If I should drag along the popup behind ihe 16 footer behind my 2000 1/2 ton GMC. :screwy: A warm place to sleep will make all the difference.

"Hi Collier,
Yes, we are open all year, especially holidays.  There is plenty of camping at the park with free firewood available.  There are porta-jons in the campgrounds but no electricity.  We are planning a free hog roast for that weekend.  Normal park fees are $15 for a one day pass for driver & vehicle.  A 2-day pass is $25 and a 3-day pass is $30.  Each additional passenger over age 12 is $5 per day and camping is $5 per night per carload.  The park only offers multi-day discounts.   Hope we see your group here for the New Year week-end!  Let us know if you need more info.
Thank you,
Ron & Sheila."

So this is schelduled for New Years Eve obviously? I really want to go but that weekend has always been bad news for me  :puke:

What day are you guys gonna show up? Friday early or late? I would assume show up midday or evening friday and do some wheeling. Then all saturday and sunday morning then I would bail and be home to party around 10pm if I come down. What is the plan? Camping etc... I need details before I haul 600 miles. :_order:

I will not be coming down this year guys.. It may be possible to get the money together and arrange things but for two things.

  1)  I don't get to wheel the tundra.. Not a big thing really.

  2) If I come down I may be short cash on the buy out of the truck..I got a lot of bills all piled up on me.

Number 2 is the reason I will wait till next year..
As the Off-roaders bible says " What gain it a man, that he should wheel one weekend, but loses his truck for lack of money. "
