what size of hole is required to install a 6.5x2.25 trailer light? Like an idot I milled my new bumper out to thos dimsensions today only to realize that I wasted my lunch. I am guesing that it needs to be .125 over size to make room for the gromet and stuff, but when I put my caliper on it (with the gromet on) I had to squize the

out of the gromet to get it down to 2.5! does the hole need to be .25 over sized. (I am using a hole saw in two locations than a end mill to conect the two) TIA!

7x2.5 should do it

1/8" each way is correct. So 6.75 x 2.5.

JUst Measured a bracket I use for a template 2 1/2 x 6 3/4
