Any suggestions for a tube notcher? Actually, do I even need a tube notcher or will a chop saw suffice? I was looking at some notchers on Ebay. I don't want to spend more than 150-200 bucks if I get one. I can't decide if its worth it. We are going to be building tube for around 6 trucks (including exos) to start with. So I want an easy process. What do u guys think? Worth it or spend it on some extra :bling: :dunno:

like this one? 49.99. I had read some bad things about the quality of the harbor freight units. (something about them becoming loose over time and inaccurate) no problems though, eh?

Wow 6 trucks, I would spend the money on a good one. Thats a whole lot of notching. But thats just my opinion, I know some guys who do it all with a 4" hand grinder

I use the chop saw. It makes a bevele on the end of the tube so you don't have to before you weld. It's a little harder sometimes to find the right angle but in the end it works out fine.
I don't need a winch, I wheel a TOYOTA!!!!!!!
