What happened to AOR?
« on: Aug 21, 2006, 11:42:56 AM »
Anyone know what happened to AOR 4x4? The website is down and I am interesting in his in bed shock hoop for the rear, I had planned on getting it for a long time now and have recently come to the point in the build where I need it. Anyone have any idea? Is the company still around or has it vanished?

Thanks in advance,

D.

the company went belly up awhile ago

i think alcan spring bought their remaining stock, so you might want to see if they still have anything left over

Definatly closed up, they screwed me over, I had to call their local Police dept. to check to see if they were still open after they never returned any phone calls, emails & faxs. Then I had to threaten them with legal action to get product that I paid for almost a year in advance, . Glad to see them gone.

After Kevin's fabricator died very sudden of a heart attack at the young age of 47, I felt that Kevin was really never able to recover from that great loss.

He finally closed it down, and shortly after Randy moved back to SLC.
I also got word that Kevin was driving his yellow toy on the freeway when he was cut off by a car and rolled it.
Kevin was ok, but the truck was a total loss.

I was sorry to hear that they finally hung it up after all those years.
I am aware that he had problems getting product delivered at times.
He was an early leader in solid axle swaps and suspension mods.
Lately, he had gotten into class 7 racing and worked on a 3RZFE toyota 2wd truck.

I recall great times at Moab being Kevin's guest and enjoyed his friendship.

Alcan is still, at least according to their site, selling the Orbit Eyes.
