Great post on this trial.  My 87yota is only stock but maybe I can convince my friend to take is 69 bronco w/ 33's and my other friend to take his blazer w/ 38's up there.  That trail looks rad.  I live in Montrose where at in the Junction area is this trial

its on little park road off broadway, wouldnt recomend 33's, ive tried twice with 33's and didnt make it either time, and fullsizes get alot of body damage

Do you think an '87 Chevy Blazer w/ 38's would make it okay, or would you still get a lot of body damage?  Would the COG affect it also?

you would be fine on the height, but lots of body damage, there are no bypasses, and u have to stay on the trail, its a narrow canyon filled with trees and large rocks, our yotas even get body damage on it

I think we have a canyon similar to that here.  I took my stock 87 on it for about 500 ft.  then there are steep ledges anywhere from 3-6 ft. tall.  It's called Happy Canyon and you go up Clutch Creek.  I want to get and 85 eventually and get 35's.

I don't have the money for a SAS but I did find an 85 for less than 2K.  I haven't seen it yet but the guy is supposed to e-mail me some pics.  It is fuel injected and already has a 6" lift and bigger tires.  I am crossing my fingers that it will work out.

Grand Junction would probably be the place for you.  Plus it's really close to Moab!

Definitely a killer trail. My buddy lives up there, and we went out on that trail back in March when I was up there for work.
