Does anyone know the rear leaf spring contant for a 1986 runner with 4cyl? please this would help me alot  :driving:

he means spring constant, its something a mechanical engineer would understand...
myself not being an engineer have no idea
'82 on 35's, not much else.

i dont know what the answer is but i feel like blabbing technical mumbo jumbo so here we go.

would there be a true spring constant with a leafspring? i wouldnt think so unless the spring rate was static, however i do beleive that most if not all leafsprings have a dynamic spring rate.
'99 SR5/TRD Tacoma w/5vzfe. SAS'd with 64" diamond axle (w/ long superset & ARB). about 5" of lift, 305/75 x16 BFG KM1's. Soon to come: 1.5" more lift (6.5"), 35 to 37" tire, undecided at this point., 63" F/F diamond rear, Marlin 4.7 tacobox.

Maybe he meant spring content, like #, length, and thickness of each.

what i wanna know is why would you want to know the spring constant of your leaf springs? maybe he was thinking of spring rate?
'82 on 35's, not much else.
