what t-case to use
« on: Aug 06, 2006, 09:17:37 AM »
i've got a 350 in my suburban right now, puts out about 300 ft/lbs of torque and i know a toyota t-case will survive that easily. but i plan on putting a diesel in thats crankin out just under 400 ft/lbs of torque and i wanna go passanger side drop (the solid axle i just picked up is). so my question is, will a toyota t-case survive? even a land cruiser t-case? if not what about a dana 300 with upgraded shafts? i dont wanna use an np205 because of the crappy gearing and nobody makes good gearing for it, and i want to be able to crawl when offroad so i dont risk as much body damage.
