I bet he's still scared.  :yipes: :yipes:

So I want to know who from Marlin's team will be at GSMTR this year?  It's been a long time since Marlin was in attendance and it's only right that he (or a delegate) should be there to see how the Toy Boxes perform.

I saw Marlin on Cliffhanger in Moab on Sat. ??? Just said hi in passing. I didn't even know he was going to be in Moab. Hmm, hope he had fun.

ran into Rocky and said

Didn't stop at the springs to see the rest of the gang cause I wanted to get home but great weather and the trail really wasn't that packed! The dude with the tan 40 that was helping the guy with no rear power (busted two pinions etc) has a very nice cruiser! We kinda drove together from the end of the trail till about El Dorado Hills and I was blown away with how fast he was going in a 40 on swampers..

dirty camera - just dust. That's the soup bowl at night. I wish I got a pic of me. I somehow dented my truck halfway up the cab on the passenger side - I must have been literally at at a 90degree sidehill to do that..

What! Hey Brandon you avoided us intentionally eh?

Glad to see you were out there - next year I will have my rig built and I'll have it there-

Marlin had a great time and finally got to relax for a change. We left fresburg no latter then 8pm Thursday night )amazing time for Marlin) and got to the springs Friday night about 6pm. That's 22 hours home-to-springs time. Not bad considering Marlin stopped three times to weld and help weld rigs broke down -- typical Marlin style.

Marlin actually walked the entire trail in to the springs from loom, and then back out from the springs to loom. So I got to drive the whole way! Sweet!

Can't wait for next year!

wow, never thought I'd see that! Can't wait to see what you do..

I was pretty tired and there was a bit of trail left. I can't believe just past the springs I accidently made a left on to some trail that just kept going (I knew it didn't look right but figured it would meet back up) until it came to a.. DEAD END!! Grrr lots of tracks on it too! On ethe way back I slammed a tree and took out what is left of my cab - now I gotta weld in a new part - had to hi-lift in back in place to attempt to get my doors in I am making.
Left Spider lake about 10 and got to my house at about 10pm back in sacramento via Tahoe :)

I'll never beat my record of leaving sac at 5am and getting back to sac (full round trip through tahoe) at about 2am the next morning - entire trail and road in less than 24 hours.

Hey, Brandon. Next time go up the hill to the right and check out long lake. Not too many go there but with the trail getting more use.......Also there are some play areas down there.

Marlin, it was good to see you away from the shop for a while. I think you got some good rest and that canoe ride had to have been worth it. See you on the next one.

Don't worry we tested pretty good already :eyebrow: but we needed to get it out of the truck and work with it on the bench.

thanks to Marlin and everyone in his shop and group that joined TLCA for our 16th Annual Rubithon!  It was great having you as our Special Guest and to see Dean walk away with the grand prize, an 8274-50 with custom bling bumper.

I am hoping we'll see you next year as official Trail Comm for the last Friday run and PMC will be letting you folks know when we come to Shaver Lake to run Dusy and Swamp near the end of Sept.

Many thanks!

I'm hoping to see Marlin and crew at Surf N Turf in Pismo.

http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=5698.0

The only down side is there isn't much carnage...  sorry no wrenchin,
Marlin will have to simply chill out on the beach with 100+ cruisers and trucks.

This thread is a bit old...

But we are hoping Marlin will be running sweep for Rubithon 2006 on June 21 to 25th.

If any one wants to attend Rubithon and go on Marlin's Friday group, Register now!

Chris and Big Mike... can someone ensure this is on the radar for 2006???

thanks!
