So with pre-pressed bearings, does this mean the job can be done with regular hand tools and plus a grinder for clearancing?

Well, you will still need to press apart the mainshaft to replace the low speed idler gear, but this can be done for the more adventurous by using a soft hammer and a thickwalled work bench.

For installation, we would first build and sell you a 470-C Complete Transfercase for $725 (exchange) and then I believe R&R a t/case is $150.
