What size are the 2 top bellhousings bolts? On a 22R?

Seems the PO decided to go without. :dunno:

14mm.  same as the large lower bolts.

Are you sure? I just pulled my drivetrain out and mine are 17mm. The lower one are 14mm. Maybe mine got changed by another owner!! :dunno:

Are you sure? I just pulled my drivetrain out and mine are 17mm. The lower one are 14mm. Maybe mine got changed by another owner!! :dunno:

I think he means actual bolt size, not head size.

i think the thread pitch is a 14mm x 1.5 they are about an inch and a half long if i remember correctly

 :smack: Sorry, been out in the heat all day swapping my drivetrain from one rig to another. Plus too much :beer: :gap: Wish I had someone video taping me pulling my tranny and case's, woulda made for a good laugh, in a diff. thread ofcourse.

I went to Toyota and bought the set of replacements...they aren't expensive.  That way you get all the right bolts.
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5
