2WD trans & computer?

I have a chance to get an 87 2wd turbo truck along with a spare 22RE but how much is going to be useable for my 83 4x4?
1. Can the 2wd turbo trans/output & tailhousing be changed to bolt up a t-case, and are the ratios the same in 2wd/4wd trannys?

2. Can the 2wd wiring harness and computer be used, I think so but need confirmation.

3. What do you think?  I figure I will have the 22RTE or the 22RE to swap in to my first gen. but kind of wanted to find a junk 4wd for all the other parts like steering box rear axle etc.
