Any trades must be a Daily Driver once this sells so does the tow rig i need only one vehicle, trades must also be off road capable.

Brenden-I'll let you know when the dodge goes up for sale (it will since we need some family sized vehicles), it's still my daily driver and we just bought a house so it will be used for a couple more months to haul sheetrock and such but i'll let you know.

Wheelbase on the cruiser is 97" as well

When I sell this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330017723365

I can buy that. It's item number 330017723365. Understood you aren't into trades, thought I'd pimp my discovery. Not the best ever, but pretty neat. Nonetheless a better candidate for a resto stocker than a trail rig, at this point. I would build mine EXACTLY like yours anyway. I do already have wheels/37's would you negotiate down on the price without the meats? Thanks, nice build.

desertboy

i'd go down some without wheels and tires, that way whatever i buy has to fit 37's quickly

Sounds good. It's going to sell, so as long as no deadbeat action I will be looking at your cruiser. The auction ends this 8/18, I figure I could make arrangements on yours 8/25ish? Can you meet any further eastbound? Also, I would want to keep the spare. Does the steering column contact the header? Can you send more pics to [email protected] ?
Thanks

desertboy

The steering doesn't hit the headers or anything :headscratch:. Where are you coming from when you say further east? Where were you thinking. Let me know what you want more pics of the pirate thread has some pics as linked above, and if you search under trail rides here there are some pics from jose basin as well. If you want additional pics let me know what of.

Not to critique your build, I couldn't tell if the steering column had streaks near the rear of the driver's header. I had that problem on a cruiser I owned before. Saw your pics on pirate, just interested in the fuel cell area in the tub, and the rear main, etc. One or two piece rear main? No offense on your abilities, just drove 1k miles one way to get a cruiser, it was misrepresented to say the least. I am one hour south of Moab, so just checking to see how far eastbound you could come to changeover.

Hottrod81

I can't believe this hasn't sold yet.  TTT for a sweet rig.

desertboy

Thanks hotrod to be honest me either.

Treepolice, The streaks on the steering column are grind marks from removing the stock bracketry on an airbag tilt chevy column, i'll send a PM trying to detail everything since it's a long haul to here for you.

fuel cell area was cut out an dropped 8 inches. A 32 gallon fuel cell is high and if you don't cut you aren't seeing out the back, i built an aluminum drop panel to lower the area 8 inches to make the top of the fuel cell even with the top of the tailgate. The drop panel is fully tig welded and held in with nut-zerks so if somebody wanted it stock in back a patch panel is all that is needed. IT's vented into a nissan charcoal cannister so you don't get to bad of a fuelie smell with the top on.
