Brake line help and body lift help.

Ive got this 82 pickup with a 4 inch suspension lift with 31 inch tires.  I was looking at the brake lines and they have some slack but not alot.  If i replace them would the 24 inch brake lines on marlins site be to long or just perfect .  I need help quick

Im looking at a body lift for my truck maybe about two inches but since i have the 4 inch lift already would i have to change a whole bunch of components like wires and stuff and change them with longer ones or will the body lift just bolt right up with out any modification.

the body lift will bolt up with little modification.. the wiring should be ok if you only go 2 inches, the steering shaft might be your only problem if not your good to go

also i saw this on a cheap tricks websight once. they used two stock breaklines and connected them together . that would be the eastiest and chapest if you have a parts truck or a junk yard close by. i never did this just read about it...

marlins 24" lines should be what you need,just make sure they still have a little slack at full droop :driving:
4 " lift and 31 inch tires??  i'm guessing your shopping for 35's :dunno:

I'm running our Brake lines. 4'' springs plus a small shackle lift ( 5" center of hole to center on hole ) and they work perfect. They also work on 5 and 6" springs so they may be a little long but I've never had any problems. I can't help with the body lift Q's.

I got two rubber lines from a brake shop and I'm really stoked with how it went. I have stainless up front and the rubber in the back, supposedly, the rubber lines are stronger than the stainless ones, which surprised me, also, according to the brake shop, threading two together is more DOT legal than a stainless one. but I don't know if Marlins are DOT legal.

Sounds like you got the breaks handled, another thing with the body lift is the shifters.  You may need to open the holes in the pan or get a short throw shift kit from marlin

u should be fine with the body lift, my friend did a 2 inch body lift with no problems or mods, it was a 1980 yota
