1983 SR5 Toy Shortbed In Norcal $3500.00

The time has come to move on from 4wheeling right now in my life so Im selling my Rig of 5 years..

Just some short history....Purchased from the original owner in near mint bone stock condition back in 00.Truck has used all sorts of various combinations of parts over the years and hasnt been taken over the Con/fordyce in a few years so it will need some attention here and there along with some finishing up. Truck runs and drives currently...THE BUYER WILL HAVE TO DEAL WITH SMOG.

Engine is stock 22r with all smog junk removed, At 230,000 engine has seen better days and uses lots of oil, Doesnt smoke other than start up or getting on it hard. rebuilt the head in 02 and has an Lc enginering header with a flowmaster, Battery is 1 year new yellow top deep cycle optima

Trasmission is stock 1983 L52 If I recall...Bearing noise in 4th and 5th and shifter needs bushing because of major slop...Have a spare L52 for you.

T case is stock

1987 Rear axle housing was shaved by Roger Brown, has pipe cap diff cover, welded 5:71s and all pro disc brakes along with summitt prop valve.All brakes are 70% and master is from a land crusier rebuilt from All Pro

Front axle has been rebuilt 10k ago...has stock birfs,Land cruiser brakes with 86 and later calipers I think it was...(been a while for me)..All pro wheel spacers to match up with the post 86 rear, warn hubs, All pro diff cover, sky truss, and Marlins Hysteer... currently has 4:10s in need of 5:71s

Suspension...63s out back on 4" blocks...Marlins 4" springs up front with 4" shackles front and 6" rear. Shocks are BBC shocks with the 15"travel. hoops are Marlin front and sky rear. Never finished the bump stops..

Rims and tires...Black rock crawler 16.5/10?? rims with 3" back spacing if I recall with 35/15/16.5 Boggers with uneven tread but probably 30%...


Inside the Cab has the allpro roll cage kit with some additions, Black Summitt fake leather 5 point seats in need of installing and belts...seats are like new. Carpet still on floor but seen better days... Momo steering wheel, and of course the Sr5 package..Volt/oil/tach. windsheild is new also.

Extras???...Bed was done with Line X in 02...have a camper shell..Black Husky truck Box with random trail spare parts...Front bumper is All Pros winch Bumper..Spare L52 tranny along with a zillion extra stock parts like wiring harness, interior stuff, basicly all the old stock parts from my old rolled 83.


Like any trail rig it does have some body damage...the worst is in the rocker areas from doing the trails with stock lift back in the day...All in all though this thing is 90% right now and just needs some tlc and and a few things to get back 2 the trail in style.Since I took most of the good parts out years back, longs,arbs, 5:29s,winch and sold them for the hot rod...I just have been slowly trying to get back to where I was at but facing reality right now I have other priorities in life and Im gonna need more seats in the future anyways.
