so, I'm in the market for a rear disc conversion on my 94 toy PU(4x4, V6) and have a couple of questions.  Since i have a V6, i can't use all pro's t-case e-brake i guess...but does or will anyone fabricte a bracket to mate up their t-case brake for my truck???   Also, if that isn't a possibility, what is the best way to go.  Downey offers rear calipers with an e-brake, but its like 450 just for the pair of calipers.  If I go this route, how well will the e-brake work?  I don't want to set the brake on a hill or something and watch my truck roll away.  Any advise/suggestions are appreciated:)

There are a couple of ways that you could go about this either use cadillac calipers that have the e brake built into them.  or you could use a isuzu type disc setup it has the e-brake built into the middle of the rotor.  Ive seen the isuzu setup before it is slick, but when they did the isuzu brake setup they also used the isuzu dana 44.  all the important stuff was easy to hook up.  The e brake cable was almost a direct hookup the brake lines screwed together and the spring perches were the same width but they were on the bottom of the axle.  Good luck with the swap.

i'm thinking of either getting brackets to use stock toyota calipers and rotors(i believe it can be done) and getting a driveline brake.  no way i'm paying extra for calipers with the e-brake hookup...it snowed the other day and it's been below freezing all week and my e-brake is frozen stuck!

if i don't just go with the disc conversion, i might give the FROR full floater a shot...a bit pricey though...

I made my own brackets.I got the templet from Jay K. I am in the process of installing the conversion as we type. I can send you a templet if you want just send me you're address.
