I have a 1981 Toyota Pickup 4x4 with 4-6 inches of lift. I have heard that the 79-83 trans/transfer case is 6in shorter than the 84-84 trans/transfer case. So my front driveshaft is 6in shorter than the ones in the 84-85 trucks and my rear driveshaft is 6in longer that the 84-85. So if I slide the Marlin Crawler Crawl Box in between the trans and the transfer case i could just put 84-85 driveshafts on my truck. Am I right or wishing for a long shot.

Any HELP would be great.

well  find some 84-85 shafts,  they have ALOT more room at the ujoint, makes greasing the joints easy and gives more flex without binding
