To Jonny Joint or Not
« on: May 31, 2006, 12:46:17 PM »
My first and a quick question, hoping not to get  :flamer: too bad.

Going to be running chebbys, should I run some jonny joints on the rear shackles 4" back or is this even necessary and should stick with a solid mount?

Anyone running them with chevies? good idea? bad idea?  :help:

If it's a good idea i'd rather do it now than later...I only have access to a good lincoln ever so rarely

Thanks in advance

Run Pivot Blocks instead.
I'm running both, and the pivot blocks do way more than the Johnny Joints.

Noticed that's what you were running on another thred

Is there a place that sells them for a decent price, or is that something i'm going to have to fabricate?

If i'll have to make them, do you have a buildup that shows how or  maybe some some tips? specs?

bolt pattern is the same as Marlin's u-bolt flip kit plates, bottom plate is the same as spring perch, bolt is 3/4" Grade 8
