High steer kit

Does the high steer kit make it easier to steer.  What are the advantage and disadvantage.

i'm not sure what a high steer does either , if the moderater wasn'ton my ass i'd say"who'd get a steer high anyways " but i 'm not like that any more

it doesnt  if you are a basically stock truck

but when you lift it 3 inches or more  it greatly improves the reliability

Ya, might have to give him a point for that one...
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

you need 3 inches of suspenion lift to make it work

I do have a suspension lift and body lift too.  I was wondering if the steering column will connect to the gear box.

You need a steering box from an IFS truck and a kit to mount that to the frame.  Then you need the high steer kit.  It moves all your steering components above the leaf springs, thus keeping them away from being bent or snapped on a rock.
