I am kicking around the idea of selling the 4runner simply because when I bought it I really had my heart set on an Amigo but settled for the 4Runner because it was a good deal. The the winch doen't go with it but the bumpers stay with it. I just finished a really nice bikini top for it and have done a ton of stuff to it since I bought it. Including working out all the bugs that the P.O. gave it. It runs great and just had a complete top end rebuild with a EB cam.
I am asking $3500 for it but would consider a parital trade for an Amigo 2wd or 4wd. It MUST be rust free and a straight body (I prefer to put the dents in it).
Here is a list of Mods and goodies it has:
22re
new EB Crawler cam
rebuilt head with
New EB timing chain
Stainless Header
new fuel filter
Custom built cold air intake
Optima Redtop
new alternator
Auto Tranny w/OD
stock gearing
5- 35" BFG MT's 25-30% tread with 5 matching 15x10 chrome wheels
1 1/2" NWOR suspension lift w/torsion bars and rear springs
3" body lift
new 2 1/4" exhaust with HD Dynomax super turbo muffler.
Smittybuilt front bumper w/custom winch mount
custom built rear bumper.
custom built bikini top.
Completely rust free body
Absolutley no frame rot
Note: this truck Will not past smog. Most of the emissions equipment has been removed but I have kept all of it in case it ever needed to be put back on.
Now the bad and/or altered stuff.
First it needs rear shocks. I blew one last weekend.
It has a very small tranny pan leak though I have never needed to add any fluid.
Also has a small oil leak at the front seal behind the balancer.
One bad tierod boot
A/C has been removed but could be replaced.
no rear inner quarter panel trims
rear window wiper removed
driverside seat is ripped
That is the obvious major stuff I feel needs disclosed
I do want to point out that I am very anal about anything I own being mechanically sound and have spent the majority of the time I have owned it making sure it is. Many of you are aware of the problems I had with it in the past But asure you Those problems have been worked out. It runs great and I would not hesitate to drive it half way across the country. It has around 55-60 psi of oil pressure at highway speeds and around 15-18psi at warm idle. It also runs around 180* under normal driving and has never gone over 200* when wheeled at a crawl for 2hrs.
The first pic is a little outdated, the front bumper has a winch mount and no lights on it.
