I'm using this. http://www.durabakcompany.com/automotive.htm It comes in lots of pretty colors too. Just make sure you spend lots of time prepping the surface for proper adhesion.  :qtip:

Can you think of something cheaper? :cheese:

Grizzly grip is $75-105  https://www.grizzlygrip.com/order.asp

Herculiner is 100-140 per gallon http://www.herculiner.com/

I found some good info about herculiner here http://4wheeldrive.about.com/od/bedliners/a/HerculinerDIY_3.htm

Rhinoliner or SuperLiner is $$$$$!

I used the walmart dupli-color stuff and it works ok but its not great. It doesn't have a very rough texture and like dirttoy said, It's all in the prep work. I got in a hurry and I have a few places that are starting to peel.
My brother in-law used the herculiner stuff and it turned out pretty good. I Think it will hold up better than the dupli-color

Just a note, you can add sand or silica beads to the walmart duplicolor stuff to get a tougher texture.
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

it is going in a 4runner both up front and in the back so I would want it smooth. But the longevity of it is the main thing here.

Don't know why you would want it smooth...the grip from the particles is much better for muddy feet, but the duplicolor will be smoothest.  Still not perfectly smooth, it will have a wavy texture to it.

In that case, the duplicolor would probably work best for you, it doesn't go on quite a thick as the other stuff.

i sound proof'd mine instead of lining it...i've thought long and hard over this and decided, since mines a DD im going to make it look and sound decent. anyway, if i were to line it, i wouldn't put carpet over it. just neoprene the seats and leave the top off forever.

cost me about $50 to sound deaden the whole truck (peel n seal)...still have the doors to do but it made a big difference. next is carpeting my junk which will make a bigger difference. i went this route because i read that the liner stuff doesn't help at all with road noise.
