I bought 4" lift off the shelf, 2 months later that "Poor Comp" lift
was fed to the saw for the rears to be 6 leafpacks, actually rightside is 7
works well Im useing the stock front hangers 5" shackles have almost 45deg
angle they drop well and dont feel to mushy when drivin in town. Anyway my
? is has anyone come up a U bolt flip useing stock pushpull steering,I cant
really afford Hy steer and mounting a new steering box may be hard because
of all the 3/8 plate I welded to patch  the frame where the weakest part of
the 82s frame made for a bad day a long time before rear springs went up front!

Ramrod

how did you get it to work at all with the stock steering is all I got to say?

IronClad

shorten the rod  and flip the ball on the jarm or pop the ball out all the way and use  a 5/8ths hiemjoint.. do it all the time up here and works great

Until you drop the drivers side tire while articulating on a side hill, and suddenly your steering doesn't want to correct and you roll your vehicle... :smack: Sorry. Just reminiscing.

Thanks for the info, I shouldnt of said stock streering Im useing a Sky Jacker draglink.
A buddy of mine made some changes to it and just seems to work though it tends to bind
up when I drop it some deep holes. I may be getting Hysteer at a real good price, found
a totaled rig steering intacked. The guys is tryin to come up with a price. :crossed:

since the rig is totalled there is no way to tell if the hysteer was damaged or not, and since you are chancing your safety, it should be cheaper ;)

I went over and looked at the truck. I dont know why the owner said it was totalled only
3/4s of the passenger side was wiped out. He said that the person who hit him wasnt insured,
I got the feeling it was his fault, the rear of the frame was tweeked pretty bad, Its been
sittin for quite a while. Lots of parts missin. there dosent seem to be any  damage to any componets just lots of dirt & grease all over.I think it was a Mall crawler at one time
it was once to pretty to take off road. Anyway I got everything for 200 and now Ican finally do the U bolt flip and hysteer and not have to worry about rollin over. Ill let you guys know how it works
