im curious to see what people are running to keep there low center of gravity. Coil, Coilover, Air shocks, leafs, anything. post some posers. im currently running a set of stock 84 rears with add a leaf up front and it still sets to high for my taste. i plan on running coilovers up front to lower it down, lower than the rear :stopit:
85 SR5, ARBs, Hi-steer, 35" Krawlers...has most of the right parts

lift blocks and cherokee hybrid pack. once 42s come into play it might change

get rid of the lift blocks and add-a-leaf and do some fender trimming.  won't it sit lower?

the rear is easy to deal with. my front is the main concern thats why i wanted to see if other people did some work on theres. right now my front 60 is about 5" below my frame. i would like to notch or do something so i can get my front end pretty low. Looking at doing this with the frame when i swap in the SB. but i can see this failing

As for ideas I would say to get lower than you are, lots of fender trimming and dovetailing is in your future and swap in some flatter springs. It doesn't look like you have much up travel right now. If those are indeed 40's, you must be over 6' tall cause I'm 5-10 and 40" is up to my waist standing straight up.

Do you have a windshield? Picture makes it hard to tell.
Thats a pretty sick truck, Id keep it like it is cept maybe them rear blocks.
'82 on 35's, not much else.

It looks good to me. Drive it and enjoy. If you really want a lower center of gravity, going wider will do the same as lowering. How wide is it now??

well axle width is 69" WMS to WMS. i have 5" BS rims so i honestly dont know. to me its almost the same width as toyota with 1.5" wheel spacers and 2.5" BS rims. i can measure it and let you know
