Well, the car is a tank, but it gets about 45 mpg. It's a diesel. I would probably fare better in the Tug-O-War Competition.

45mpg....wow.

Did not expect that one, I thought it was closer to 15-20mpg...damn non turbo diesel motors.

I am getting 20+ in city in my WRX with WOT every once in a while.

the only problem with that, is those are the cars that everyone wants, so they're resale value is still very high

i was thinking...86 corolla gts

  wish I'd never sold my 85 gts, but it didn't get anywhere near 30mpg.  My brother had his for a lot longer than I, and he typically got low to mid 20s too.  My 91 2wd toy pu gets better than the old gts at 26 consistently, 28 plus on the freeway.

Is this supposed to be a burn?  Remember, I've ACTUALLY owned both, so if anybody knows what they will or won't do, I kinda think it would be me, and my gts barely had more go than my 81 2wd, but that truck flat got it for what it was.  And it got 26mpg on trips with a 4spd and 50 series tires, so  :flamer:
