New Tool Album: 10000 Days
« on: May 04, 2006, 12:26:40 AM »
It is amazing.  It just grows on you.  I haven't stopped listening to it since I bought it.  It is Tool, but completely different.  It has a redemptive, positive tone compared to the existential angst of the past.  Buy it.

 What can I say, it's Tool, they just rock. One of the greatest bands of all time IMO.

I have to second the comment on the case artwork...it's trippy. those binocular type glasses make those pics so realistic! and of cours, Tool is the best band in the history of rock, so of course they'll sound awesome.

I've always liked Tool's music and their videos.

I thought the album was really weird.. but good.

"Jambi"  :rockingout:

And "Rosetta Stoned"... well lets just say the lyrics are interesting.

I went to get it at Best Buy and a few guys told me that it was garbage and a real letdown.  so I asked them who they listened to.  They listed some of my favorite bands so I put the CD back.

NOW everybody is saying it's great- guess I'll go get it AGAIN  :shake:

I am a huge Tool fan but I have to disagree. I have listened to the new album near 20 times, and I am very disappointed. I have found only 2 songs I liked. All the rest are lame IMHO.

I like some of TOOL's previous album.  I guess it is just $10  :dunno:

It's an awesome album, but I had to listen to it a couple of times to truly appreciate it.
