sorry guys ièm only 16 years old and only make $8.16 an hour ( Canadian ) ,, i have i tough time deciding what to do. itès just that someone just suggested that to me!!!.
I will most likley do the 63s in the back and rears in the front, crazy flex.

Later  Playerz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :beerchug:

if this is the case,  then stay with the stock springs and add a leaf or two to the packs  run some 33's  till you wear them out  get a feel for your truck and how it handles,  dont make the mistake others have made and jump right to 38's  or 40's  just because someone else has them and looks good,  the more you run that truck offroad  the more you will see the benefits of keeping it low  and upgrading when parts break

and dont waste you money on stupid crap like smurf's   :slap:

and if you live in canada,  what kind of wheeling are you doing,  the stock springs with a added leaf  are very flexy

im betting you dont need near that much flex  or tires

next thing we know  there will be a friend of yours saying you were hurt cause you lifted the truck to 8 inches with 38 inch tires and flipped it and now your pushing up daisies

now  just keep things simple   and learn along the way

I think we will start moving your questions here so you can keep track of them and they won't be spread all over the place.

My guess is you have plenty of hight, you just need some gears, lockers and maybe a more agressive tire if you want to play in the wet stuff.

I think it's personal opinion. I put mine back in becuase I thought truck was squirrely without it, but I do a lot of highway driving, too.

i have had my truck for over 12 years,  and the sway bar has been  thrown away over 11 years ago,     up till a year ago it was my daily driver  and at times  driven over 100 miles EVERYDAY

its never fealt "squirrely"   it doesnt  take curves like its on rails  but anybody who wants  to do that  in a 4x4 deserves to be laying upside down in a ditch :slap: its a TRUCK

befor this truck i had a suzuki samuria,   great little truck, very capable.  people were sueing suzuki because they OH MY GOD,  would flip over if taking a sharp curve to fast   OH THE HUMANITY,  how could anybody  build a rig for people to drive on the street  that couldnt handle a 40mph curve at 70  HOW COULD THEY DO THAT :slap:

ITS A 4X4 YOU  :idiot:
i delivered pizza with my sammy  and took corners  at speed all the time  but had a BRAIN  and knew what it could do and what WOULD  get me hanging from a seat belt

if you are afraid of driving your truck  without a sway bar,  go buy a Subaru   :shake:

IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

It will give you more travel, the natural response of a sway-bar to push back when the truck axle travels causing the sway-bar to twist is its job. By removing it you allow the axle to travel freely. There of course will be a little more sway in doing this on road, my suggestion would be to take it off drive it around on and offroad and see if you like the difference or if it scares you. It doesn't take long to remove so you can figure out if you like the results.

How about IFS?  What kind of improvement might you see by removing the sway bar on stock IFS?

Just unbolt it next time out, takes about 15 minutes, tie strap the sway bar out of the way and drive around.  Then decide.  You can make a pretty cheap "quick disconnnects " if you find you like the streetability more with the bar.

I didn't notice any difference in my rig, so I took the entire thing out.  (solid axle)  I'm still the "quickest" in the turns in my group.
