I know it's a long shot but...Just wondering if anyone out there happen to have their 22r out of their truck being worked on. And if so, did you separate out the bolts correctly? I hope you did. Cuz I didn't... :hammerhead:....I'm looking for any help, pics descriptions etc...thanks

I just pulled my friends 22Re out last week and put all the bolts in a can together.  I've pulled toyota motors enough that it is pretty easy to find out where they all go.  Which ones are you not sure on?  Bell housing bolts  :dunno:
1986 Toyota 4Runner 22re 5spd transmission and dual transfer cases (4.7's in the rear). E-lockers front and rear.

2005 GMC Sierra diesel, compound turbo setup to pull.

God gave all people talents but the only one who can find them is you.

I think I got all the major ones, trans, motor mounts. I'm just not sure which size 12mm go where and all of the shorter 14mm...It's my first 22r and it's kinda not the best looker thanks to some P.O.'s

I won't be puttin it in due to a business trip, so a buddy of mine will be. and I've got bags of bolts grouped according to head size and length, so maybe that will be enough

Mosly what I'm looking for are power steering bracket, A/C compressor bracket

I had to do that the hard way my first time.    The main ones were easy, it was all of those brackets that i had a prob with.  I just had to go by a process of elimination and figure out where they didn't go for sure.  To long, to short, stuff like that.  Very time consuming, until it worked.  Pain in the butt, i feel your pain.

good luck.   :crossed:

Yea pretty much, just as long as you dont have a pile of them when your done :gap:

RustyToy

Don't you always have a pile of them when your done?    :hammerhead:  I always have to buy bolts when i do engine swaps...    :smack:  i break them or change somthing.

all good mechanics have bolts left over...how do you think we have so many random bolts laying around?
