That Supra is just "OK"

In my opinion, the only reason he is getting such great track times is because he must have 700+ HP at the wheels...

I've just never been impressed with most of the Supras I've seen at track days. Don't get me wrong, they have been used in the GT series overseas AND THEY ARE AWESOME, but I just don't like the way that guy was controlling/not controlling the car. :twocents:

Cool vid otherwise though

The only thing I don't like about MKIV Supras is that they are still going for $30,000+ prices. I would love to buy one and build one up. They are just super sexy. And the 2JZGTE with Big Single Turbo makes HUGE #'s. I want one, BAD!!!!!!!!!

BTW, anyone know a ball-park figure for what you can get it down to, in terms of weight?

Practically speaking.... Like still having a radio, heater, glass windows, passenger seat.

That's my only problem that I have with ALL supras, and 3000GTs, and Turbo Celicas, and 300ZX, and 2nd gen MR2s, and Subaru WRXs, and Evos, and yadda yadda yadda

That's why I've always stuck with my MR2 because it only weighed 2000 pounds.

Take this for an example. I'm sure you've all heard about the AMAZING ARIAL ATOM:

1005 pounds.
300 HP
0-60: 2.9 seconds
0-100: 6.8 seconds
0-100-0: 10.8 seconds

Yeah, that is simply AMAZING:

I guarenttee it would beat the Enzo around that track, "the stig" made like 3 mistakes that he never makes and the Atom still only lost to the Enzo by just 5 tenths of a second.

Street Legal. I want one so bad I CAN TASTE IT

c'mon now BigMike are you actually gonna put the Arial Atom in the same category as a Enzo?

That thing looks like Formula one!  LOL... granted it's street legal but STILL!

I'll put anything in the same category if it is as quick as the Enzo, but definately the Atom is NOT as fast as the Enzo!!

Yeah, the Subaru is a chubby little sedan, but it gets going. You just wait, I am going to buy a truck and then the WRX is getting a little less low-profile... :driving: :burnout:
2007 Satin white pearl STi- mostly stock
2006 WRX TR 320whp 343wtq, taken in a road rage wreck
1998 4runner, needs to become wheeler status

No doubt those cars I mentioned are fast, I just prefer cars that are quicker. :gap:
