Jim, I looked on the site and saw that Area 5 is closed that weekend...

KYLE! Need help here.... WTF is area 5? is that PART or ALL of the 4x4 area? I looked on the site maps and can't seem to figure it out.

If it's all of it we're gonna have to plan somewhere else, cuz I already got the weekend off :disturbed:

Area 5 is the entire 4x4 park.
Why don't you guys just go to Clear Creek instead?

The following weekend is the Mud in Yer Eye event. lemme know.. i will keep checkin for other sites to wheel at.

Ok here's what we got through TTORA guys.  Apparently Area5 is connected to Upper Ranch....

QuoteHollister's Area 5 is a group camp area and also for the bigger ATV's that can't be run in the 'Lower Ranch' (motorcycle area). Area 5 is attached to the 'Upper Ranch' which is where all of us wanna be! Upper Ranch is open on the May 5th weekend that was being planned for, there's two other places to camp there, one is Sycamore camp, the other is a large area adjacent to the obstacle course...plenty of space!! On the weekend that Angry Andy and his Angry FJ are going, April 29th, there is an event called the 'MTA Mud-in-yer-eye', an annual thing... and the Upper Ranch (including the Area 5) is closed for that specific event and it's attendee's (they may still have space to register..)

I'm gonna stick to the original date and place, as well as Steve (Thebeast8888), and hopefully anyone else who wants to come.

Wermy!!  You should bring yer truck! I took the Migo when it was stock and had a blast :wink2:

So, May 5-7, upper ranch... Be there

Ok. Back from another awesome weekend at Hollister. Tank Trap was pretty nutz thru No Mans Land. A couple of the bogs were pretty ridiculus. Overall, the trails were in pretty good condition. No real problems all weekend. 1 clutch got pretty toasty and we lost only 2 birfs. Looks like things will be good to go in 2 weeks. C ya out there!
