auto to 5 speed conversion

i have a 85 with a 22re with a automatic tranny, i also have a 87 parts truck that has a blown motor but a good 5 speed, ive heard that this is a pretty difficult job considering all the wires soming from the auto............... any help would be appreciated!

85 cab on a 87 sas frame with 6 inch lift, 15x10 wheels, 34-10.50 swampers, all pro high steer, shock hoops, dual diff guards, in cab roll cage, rancho 5000s, all poly bushings remote diff breathers front and rear recievers, welded rear(4:30's) 22re

Granted theres a lot of stuff to do but the only real thing that you have to do is bypass the park/neutral safety switch, witch only lets the vehicle start if its in one of those gears.  this is done easily by routing the wires together with a butt connector

It's actually fairly simple. I did mine over a weekend. Hardest part was getting the clutch master cyclinder in. Only one wire has to be connected to get the thing to run. Its definitely the best swap you could do to your truck. The auto tranny isn't even worthy of a boat anchor in my opinion. Somehow I managed to sell mine for more than I paid for the entire running 5spd donor truck! Sucker
85 4runner. Nothing Special...Gears, Lockers, Tires and Suspension. Oh yeah and I actually know how to work on and drive it. 4 wheeling is becoming to popular...If you're some wanna be smuck stay on the pavement.
