It says it all there dont it what the hell is a factory Vehicle configuration anyway
Supposidly in missouri factory config means structural. And is determined at inspection not by cops pulling you over. So if you modify your rig in a way that comprimises its integrity then its not allowed here. In some vehicles this includes the doors since in some makes they are nessisary to the structural integrity.
i would think maybe a unibody they would be most neccesary...
hmmm, which makes half doors legal then right?
doors are designed to be removed...otherwise they would be welded to the truck.
The bumper law says by a manufacturer not the one that manufactured the vehicle....
Might want to take some measurements and print this one also Duffil:Frame and Floor Height24008.5. (a) No person shall operate any motor vehicle with a frame height or body floor height greater than specified in subdivisions (b) and (c).(b) The maximum frame height is as follows: [This table lists the maximum frame height for various types of vehicles.] * Vehicle Type Frame Height (1) Passenger vehicles, except housecars 23 inches (2) All other motor vehicles, including housecars, as follows: Up to 4,500 pounds GVWR 27 inches 4,501 to 7,500 pounds GVWR 30 inches 7,501 to 10,000 pounds GVWR 31 inches (c) The lowest portion of the body floor shall not be more than five inches above the top of the frame.
OPD: well, that may be. Step out of the vehicle please.
if i get pulled over and they start dicking with me asking questions and can tell they are not going to give me a ticket i tell them to stop harasing me and that there are more important things to worry about

Or you can tell them you want to speak with their supervisor. They usually do not want their boss to come out there for their stupid BS. tends to shut em up.
Here's some more reading for ya. It lists state by state lift laws so everyone can enjoy this. http://www.truckaddicts.com/pages/laws.html
This was pretty neat! Wyoming has none though, lol, so I guess I do not need to worry. I have one question though: If I travel through a different state am I subject to that states lift laws, or would it still be under my state (WY) laws? I would assume I am still under my states lift laws/
