Yeah...I had like 3 weeks where I didn't want to use what I had, and just didn't touch it.

I would LOVE to have that thing.  I just wanted to post it up because the trailer is bigger than my truck.  The guys at work said I'd never get it to move.

yeah...it's a 7.5 HP 2-stage air compressor.  I drew the short straw(only guy with a 4x4 at work) and had to deliver it to the customer today up in Sonora.  I found out my rear brakes are not working while trying to back the loaded trailer down a hill probably 30* and off camber...front tires left some serious rubber. :headshake:

give those brakes a pump before you need 'em, engine brake it all the way down and then float it out of 4th.

It's not a big deal if you are one with your machine. :hammerhead:

also, I noticed that the more "kiyul-style" I got, the better my welds looked.  try a Belgian Triple. :yesnod: this is a weak one at 8.5%...

Well I suppose I was talking about both, but I was implying that maybe it wasnt his welds getting better but the alcohol was making them look better the way it makes fat and ugly thin and sexy...

so, can anybody help with the spindle bushings? does it matter which way the inner grooves face?

I don't know if it matters or not but  I would guess that the side with the groove would be on top so the most surface contact would be on the bottom when the shaft is at rest and no force is applied  I.E. normal driving with the hubs unlocked.  Reason being that if the shaft can rattle from bumps and vibration it won't damage the bushing with more contact to the shaft.  This principle is used with heavy duty truck spring bushings since they don't use rubber bushings and they go for lots-o-miles.   This is just a guess but a logical one...I think.  :headscratch:  what'd you think?

well, if I align the outer face the same as stock, it either puts the inner groove forward or backwards....I am starting to think it won't make a difference either way.
