those old rigs still work, and sound pretty good if youve still got a good one

what do you want to know? the pbass lookin one is like a 35.5" scale, Fender reissue 62 pbass pickups, hipshot bridge, 45-105 GHS strings.  the other is a 24 fret 34" scale, POS, textured granite finish, generic pickups, 45-105s...everything I have is using Dunlop Straplocks.  I also have an 80s Kramer acoustic i am in the process of rebuilding.

duffil what  did you use to cut the leg were the frame is not strait? going to the front by the fender? were you need to cut it at an angle :beerchug:

I did cut an angle into it, you kinda can't see it from the angle of the pic.  Used the chopsaw at work. I'm not going all the way forward, the front should be about where the firewall is.

 :thud:

so, let's see.  This weekend:
5/27--Niagara Rim Trail.  Made it thru fine, even though Dave can't follow his own directions, and didn't show up on time. And of course kyle blew his driveline. no body damage
5/28--Deer Valley Trail  :yesnod: Fuggin rawks!  went with 4CJs and an XJ.  Arrived to the taunt of "oh, look, some kid brought his toy along to play"  :shake_head: All these things were geared/locked/35" tired.  I knew 2 of the guys there.  They changed their tune at the end of the day, surprised I made it open/open(one of the CJs was detroit/arb/5.29/35s and had a tough time) I had a blast.  Sorry no pics, I left the camera on my desk. no body damage.
5/26-5/28: slept in 3 different beds, totalling about 7 hours sleep, plus my nap at lunch on the trail today. and had a blast doing it!

Got a little more done today...Driver's door latch.  I didn't think too much on this when I cut the doors, so I won't be able to use the factory bezel.

Then I went to Denny's and picked this up.

It even came with some sweet FREE cardboard. :cheese:
