Bed is looking good. i didn't realize you were using real paint, is that your garage or a friends? I like the make shift paint booth.

yeah I want it to look decent-ish. That's the above redneck's garage. Mine has a water heater in it, so no go. Paint booth actually worked very well. I had a fan set up with some more plastic routing fumes outside; there was no paint other than inside the plastic and on the bed.

I got my crossmember back together today. Thanks Hyena for getting me those numbers.

Stock drivetrain angle is 4* downward at the tcase flange.

I had to do some uhm...let's call it ~~hacking up new parts~~ machine work to the rotor on this thing. I just wasn't feeling the way it was supposed to mount. only 1 pattern on my MC flange matched the rotor...

I haven't posted anything up in a while but I have been working.

new IFS rear housing:

Got it done today except for paint. It's not pretty but it is leak-free. I pressurized the housing with about 15psi... I put in some button-head bolts instead of studs a-la 4rnrrick. Also flipped the fill hole to allow for more oil capacity.
Also got my highsteer on enough to allow me to get the truck into the garage. the box is just bolted to one of the stock push-pull holes.

OK. What time you plan on rolling out on friday? I don't really know how far Fordyce is.

Mapquest says just about 3 hours. So I wanna give myself 3.5 hours to get there for fueling stop and whatnot. So I wanna roll out Modesto or Oakdale around 6 at the latest. That should put me there between 9 and 9:30.
