I put on my new LC engineering header and it is a beautiful header but it angles the exhaust toward the middle of the truck and towards the driveline.  Should I have the exhaust shop heat it and try to bend the header or curve a pipe after the cat back towards the right position and go from there?????  I don't think there is anything wrong with the header because if it didnt angle like that it would hit the frame.

Ok went to the local muffler shop and had him do a custom job.  I am surprised how quiet it was after he got it done that header from LC didn't really affect the loudness at all.

if you want quiet :psss:  i would go with a cross flow type, like used on a 80 something chevy impala,  big and flat comes in one corner goes out the other, but still has a 2" in and out :driving:

I used a dynomax super turbo, I did alot of checking and they run quiet and still have better flow than Flowmaster.

:dunno: What kind of dummy do you think I am :dunno:  of course I used 2 1/4 inch pipe all the way.  I wouldn't put that stock soft-drink straw size pipe back on this project.
