I have an X8000i Warn and I am mounting it on a Marlin front bumper....but the "free spool" and "engage spool" lever is hitting the bumper because it is located in the front (9 o'clock) position; therefore I can not engage my winch.
My question is this: Can I use an allen wrench....take that side ( right side when facing the winch) off, spin it "clock wise" relocating the handle at the 12 o'clock positions instead of the 9 o'clock position where it is located now?
I think that I can

....I just need someone that knows more about a winch then I do to
