locker
« on: Oct 08, 2003, 10:47:31 AM »
I just bought  a Lockrite locker for my 92 4runner, and i haven't put one in before. Is it pretty difficult? also, are they a pretty rugged locker? or should i go with something else.
It just won't get stuck!!

Not extremely difficult but it will take you some time if you haven't done it before. Should you go with something else? Well if money is not an issue the lock right is the LAST thing I would buy, go arb or electric. With that said I run a lock right up front and a spool in the rear. Why? It was cheap..

i was thinking about running a spool in the rear...but i wanted the rear end to be able to spin correctly when turning on the road.
It just won't get stuck!!

detroit is the best"locker"  for a toy, theBEST WAY TO GO is the electric locker, far more of a pain to install than the lockright, but not bad, just some clearancing issues but well worth the effort,
but for the money,  lockright does a great job :driving:
