He was regestered on the 23rd, in the morning, made the post in the evening, and hasnt come back on since that night. I guess you could say that he isnt on here a lot, eh?

Guys, you don't want to do this.  Especially if you only hang out on the Marlin board.  When people are trying to sell stuff they cross post it across many boards.  Why would a guy driving an 80 series cruiser/lx450 have any posts on Marlin?  Nothing except he's trying to post it in as many places as possible.  I don't recognize the handle, but chances are he's on IH8MUD.

If you keep spamming peoples posts, people will either:

1.  Post a bunch of crap to pretend they care when in reality they don't, they just want to sell their stuff.
2.  Stop posting F/S stuff here altogether, in which case the Marlin board regulars will miss out on deals unless you surf the other boards.

If you try and make the board too insular, that's what you'll get, and that's not what you want.

Oh, and response to his ad is not going to depend on his post count.  It depends entirely on microeconomics.
