O.k.  just bolted on 36"x13.50" Iroks on 15x10 2 1/2" BS rockcrawler wheels on my 85' Runner.  I am worried about my rear fame clearance when the wheels are stuffed.  As it sits now, I only have 1 1/2" from the sidewall to the frame at the rear.  I know it is going to rub.  Anybody else run this set up and have the same issue?  I guess some wheel spacers are in order.

thats normal on a toyota... even with wheel spacers  if you have any sort of flex they will rub.. its no big deal  just letem rub.. or get wheel spacers and gain a little more flex and letem rub

My junk is pretty flexy.  I am going to swap a 86+ axle in sometime.  I was just dissappointed with how little clearance I had.  Just wondering if I got too crazy trying to fit 13.5's over 12.5's.  Thanks.

neop..  12.5's and 13.5's are not wide tires ;)     the frame rubbage is a commen thing..   thats why i cut mine off behind the cab :D   and my junk is flexy too..  back when i still had the rest of my frame  at full stuff i was still able to rub my frame  with fullwidth and 2 .5" bs wheels   ( thats 10" more axle plus  whatever the difference in back spacing was)

I would post some pictures but my transmission on on the floor (the clutch went out).  I am not looking forward to wrestling that trans and x-fer case back up.  I only have wheeled it once with the suspension setup I have and it flexed very well.  Soooooo I don't have any action shots to speak of.  I am shooting to be done in a few weeks.  Got three cans of black and red durabak for the interior and exterior.  Interested to see how that turns out.  Lookin for some seats and to add some tube doors.

Get an IFS 86-95 rear axle which is 3" wider and get spacers in front to match. You could also get offset wheels and youre good to go.
